Talk to a recruiter. US Army recruiters are posted nationwide to help civilians with their questions about joining the Army. You can find a recruiter through the internet or yellow pages.
-
Step 2
You will need to find out if you are eligible to join as an officer or as an enlisted soldier. If you have a bachelor's degree, you are eligible to become an officer.
-
Step 3
Make sure to ask your recruiter all kinds of questions. It is a good idea to bring a list of questions with you to your appointment with the recruiter. They will give you a lot of important information, and you need to make sure that you ask questions.

Step 4
When joining the Army, officers and enlisted soldiers must go through boot camp. Many military personel tell prospective Army members to arrive at boot camp in shape. Boot camp is a tough experience and being in poor physical shape will only make things harder.
