avoid being a victim of the Acai Berry Cleanse Scam

It's important to actually understand why the tiny Acai Berry is so good for our circulation and digestive tracts, and how effective it is in the cleansing of the colon.
Equally important is how to avoid the scams when choosing your Acai Berry supplement, and what to look for before you purchase.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The ACAI Berry is a natural source of healthy fibre, therefore is very good for your circulation system, the alimentary tract and consequently the health of your colon. A 100% Pure ACAI Berry product, is full of valuable phytosterols. Sterols are a family of compounds with a typical ring structure that occurs in plants and are proven to reduce our blood cholesterol. The Beta-Sitosterol, which is the overriding sterol in ACAI Berry, prevents weakness, resulting from severe physical stress, and strengthens your immune system so that your body is better at fighting viruses.
A 100% Pure ACAI Berry Supplement detoxifies, and cleans out your body. The natural ingredients in 100% pure Acai Berry supplements, heightens your bodies own natural, inner, purification procedure, for complete detoxification. With simple daily use of this fantastic product you will begin to feel the benefits, almost immediately.
Your colon has the thankless task of eradicating the waste from your body and the health of any colon will degrade as you get older. By cleansing your colon you will enjoy the long term health benefits that a clean colon, and healthy body can provide.

  2. Step 2

The three most common processing procedures used are freeze-dried, drum-dried and spray-dried. To get the true benefit of Acai Berry avoid using any product that uses the latter two. Both these processes involve heat to speed up the process. This reduces the nutrient value of the product considerably. Freeze dried Acai Berry locks in all the nutritional and anti-oxidant content of the berry, giving you 100% pure Acai Berry supplements.
Always look at the Label: All good sites will show a blown-up image of the label, for all their products. Check the label for ‘No Added Ingredients’. The Acai Berry is a pure organic fruit and should have nothing added.
Avoid 4:1 Extracts. These products have about 40% of Maltodextrin added in the spray drying process, has a little over an eighth of the nutrient value of freeze dried Acai Berry. A loophole in FDA allows these products to be promoted without having Maltodextrin shown as an ingredient on the label.
Also, completely avoid any products that use the acai seed, Genuine Acai Berry only uses the outer skin and pulp which is only 10% of the actual berry, the other 90% is seed and has no real nutrient value to speak of.

  3. Step 3

Avoid any site that offers Free Samples. These sites use the Free Sample marketing ploy as an inducement to get your credit card details. You have to pay shipping and handling to get this sample and under the terms and conditions (small print) you are also agreeing to purchase a monthly supply until you decide to cancel your order. Although this is not so terrible, the problem becomes apparent when you try to cancel. T&C state that you must cancel your order within 14 days from the time you ordered the product. Delivery is deliberately delayed and can take anything from 5-10 days, which only gives you a few days left to test and cancel if not suitable for you. In the majority of cases customers are not aware of this clause and are simply not aware that they have to cancel their order, which only becomes apparent to them when they get there credit card statement. In some cases they will even find they’ve been charged $30.00 or more for a newsletter that they were unaware of. The number you receive to make the cancellation is invariably impossible to get through to anyway.

Oprah and Dr Oz: Avoid any site that has an endorsement from Oprah Winfrey or Dr Oz. Here’s the actual statement from Oprah Winfreys’ own site regarding Acai Berry.
‘Consumers should be aware that neither Oprah Winfrey nor Dr. Oz is associated with nor do they endorse any acai berry product, company or online solicitation of such products, including MonaVie juice products. Attorneys for Harpo are pursuing companies that claim such an affiliation.’

4:1 Extracts: Avoid Acai Berry 4:1 extracts. Extracts will only use a portion of the fruit and the rest is made from added ingredients.

Spray or Drum Dried: Avoid Spray & Drum Dried Acai Products. Spray and drum drying uses a high concentration of heat in order to remove all water content. This method destroys a significant amount of the Acai Berry’s nutritional value. Although is sometimes sold at a cheaper rate it kind of defeats the purpose of choosing Acai Berry as your daily health supplement in the first place.
During this process, the berries are also sprayed with a carrier such as maltodextrin to dry them out. A loophole in FDA, allows suppliers to market spray dried Acai Berry without having to show Maltodextrin on the label.
