Train a Your Dog From Constant Barking in The House
Train a Your Dog From Constant Barking in The House

How to train a dog who constantly barks unecessary in the house.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Empty steel cookie can
  • some old screws and bolts
  • Duck tape to wrap around the can filled with bolts.
  1. Step 1

Get an empty cookie can and place the screws and bolts inside of the can, So it makes a rattling sound.

  2. Step 2

Tape up the can so the cover will not open when shaking the can,

  3. Step 3

Once the can is all completed. Use the can when the dog barks unnecessary. Shake the can in front of the dog and say " NO ". Once the dog hears the rattle of the can for a couple of times it will register with the dog and he will stop barking. As soon as the dog stops barking you can say good dog and reinforce the dog with praise and he will begin his good behavior. If that does not work with your dog use a spray bottle filled with water and give a short spray when they bark, that sometimes gets them to stop barking.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can also use a spray bottle filled with water inside of it to give the dog a quick spray when they get out of hand.
  • These tips tend to work at an early age when the dog is growing up. But I found it did help me out in the later years when the dog is at a mature age also. It does not hurt to try it.
