How to Buy Empty Ink Cartridges

Most computer printer users go through several cartridges each and every year. That leaves millions upon millions of unused ink cartridges in landfills. There are those, however, that recycle the old ink cartridges or even create new projects out of them. Whatever the reasoning is behind it, it is possible to shop for and purchase empty ink cartridges, although you most likely will not be able to do it at the store.

Instructions

    • 1

Look in the "Additional Resources" section of this article. In it is a link to a website, Time-to-buy-it, but more important, the link will take you directly to where you can purchase empty ink cartridges.

    • 2

Scroll through the list of available empty ink cartridges (most will come in large bundles). There may be multiple pages (the amount of products offered will fluctuate over time). The page runs in conjunction to eBay, so when you click on a listing you like, you will be taken to the posting on eBay.

    • 3

Sign up for an account with eBay if you do not yet have one, and then either "Place a Bid" or "But it Now." Buying empty ink cartridges right then will be slightly more expensive then bidding on it, but you'll be guaranteed you'll get the material.

Select a payment method that the seller approves of, which will most likely either be PayPal, credit card or check. (PayPal is an online backing system, which you can sign up for free and deposit money into from your bank account. If you do not yet have a PayPal account, you can sign up for one through the second link in Additional Resources.
