How to Decorate Round Mirrors
Probably the easiest way to decorate round mirrors is by decorating the mirrored glass itself. You can also decorate around the mirror and use the wall behind it as part of the theme. Or you can physically frame the mirror. This is the most expensive option, but it can transform a conventional round mirror into a dramatic conversation piece. This last option should be done professionally. The other two options can be accomplished fairly easily with a minimum of expense. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Select the decals for your mirror. You will want the mirror to remain practical as well as decorative, so select frosted decals that flow with the curves of the mirror and do not interfere with the central reflection. If you are decorating a child's room or do not need the mirror to show the reflected image clearly, you could use larger, central designs. Either way, these decals should be frosted so they give the impression of the design being etched on the glass.

Apply the decals to the mirror. You can usually simply peel and stick wall decals. Use the paper towel to smooth the decals from the center of the design outward to make sure there are no bubbles underneath the decal. Apply all the designs now so you do not have to work on the mirror while it is on the wall.

Mark the mirror's future position on the wall. Trace around the mirror very lightly with the pencil. This will give you an idea of where the mirror will be but will also let you work on the surrounding wall without the risk of knocking the mirror down.

Apply the wall decals. Wall decals around a round mirror should act like a frame. If you are using words, place them above and below the mirror so the mirror is in the middle of the words or phrases. If you are using floral designs, wrap them around the mirror in a curving or circular pattern. This will integrate the wall designs with the mirror. As with the decals on the mirror, smooth out the decals from the center using a paper towel to prevent bubbling.

Hang the mirror. Unless the mirror came with a specialized mount, simply use a picture mount to hold it in place.
