Start with an unlaced shoe. Feed the ends of the laces into the bottom set of eyelets from the outside in.

Skip the next two sets of eyelets and feed the ends into the fourth row of holes from the outside in.

Run each lace down the inside and outside of the third row of eyelets.

Take the right lace to the top hole on the left and feed through from the inside out.

Run the left lace across to the adjacent hole on the right side.

Take it under and out of the fourth hole on the right side.

Run the shoelace across to the fourth hole on the right side and feed through from the outside in.

Take it back under and out of the third hole on the left side.

Bring the lace up and feed it from the outside in through the top hole on the right.

Tips & Warnings
If the laces start to fray, cover the ends with tape. Use thin-nosed pliers to feed the ends of the laces through the holes if it becomes difficult.
