Things You'll Need:
- Fruits in the colors of the rainbow. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and purple.
-
Step 1
The first chakra is the Root Chakra and is located at the base of your spine. It is associated with the color RED. Strawberries, cherries, and rasberries are wonderful fruits to add to your Chakra Fruit Salad to keep you from seeing "red" or being angry.
-
Step 2
The second chakra is called the Sacral Chakra or Naval Chakra. ORANGE is the color associated with this chakra, which is located approximately two inches below the belly button. A natural choice for your chakra fruit salad would be 'naval' oranges, peaches, apricots, and cantelope. Be creative with your combinations.
-
Step 3
The third chakra is called the Solar Plexus Chakra or Life Force Chakra. It is located at the top of your stomach, and gives you the energy to obtain your goals. The color is YELLOW, just like the sun. Since you want your chakra fruit salad to be sweet, please leave the lemons for some luscious lemonade, and cut up some bananas instead.
-
Step 4
The fourth chakra is the Heart Chakra and helps us to experience love and joy, peace and serenity. The color associated with the Heart Chakra is GREEN. Add some kiwis, green grapes, and honeydew to this healthy and heartwarming salad.
-
Step 5
The fifth chakra is the Throat Chakra and rules our communication center. The color associated with the Throat Chakra is BLUE. Being true blue keeps you honest. Adding blueberries to your Chakra Fruit Salad keeps you healthy and full of anti-oxidants.
-
Step 6
The sixth chakra is the Third Eye Chakra and is right in the middle of your forehead. It connects you to your intuition and your dreams. INDIGO is a combination of blue and purple, so adding some red grapes and red plums to your Chakra Salad will round it out nicely.
-
Step 7
The seventh chakra is the Crown Chakra and is located on the top of your head. It connects your human self to your spiritual side. The regal color, PURPLE, is associated with this magnificent chakra. Honor it with blackberries, black grapes, and purple plums.
