Digital photo frames are picture frames that display your digital pictures without having to pay money to print the pictures or view through a computer monitor. Common digital picture frames range in size from seven to twelve inches. Many digital picture frames can also display pictures as a slide show as well as showing short videos. Initially, all digital photo frames would stretch or skew images to fit a 640 x 480 pixel size, however, current photo frames will automatically stretch or skew images to meet a 16:9 or 3:2 image aspect ratio, but will let you change frame settings such as: background wall paper, number of pictures, to display, and slideshow settings.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Load pictures into your digital photo frame by choosing one of two methods: inserting your digital camera's memory card directly into the memory card slot on the photo frame, or connecting your photo frame to your computer or digital cameral via USB connection. Then, using the photo frame's menu, choose the photos individually or by photo album to include in your photo frames visual gallery.

  2. Step 2

Select the "Wallpaper" or equivalent menu option for your digital photo frame. Then, select the wallpaper to display around your photos by clicking the example display that has the desired look and feel.

  3. Step 3

Choose the "Slide Show Settings" menu option to change the digital picture frame show settings for your photo frame. You will be able to toggle the delay time in seconds to switch between pictures.
