After choosing the traffic exchange website that you want to join you will need to register with them and become a member of that site.

Once registered you will need to submit/add your blog/site to them that you want traffic generated to.

Once you start surfing you will need to stay on that blog/site for a certain number of seconds. You will know this as you can see the seconds winding down somewhere on that page. It may be 25 seconds, 15 seconds or 5 seconds depending on the traffic exchange site you are using.
