Things You'll Need:
- a jar of water
- potting soil
- small flower pot
- Schultz take root
- scissors

Step 1
Find and strait stem on your plant, then take your scissors and cut at a 45 degree angle approx 1/2" from the knot in the stem, but make sure the cut piece is approx 6" in length,
-
Step 2
make sure to remove most of the leaves from the stem, you only want 2 or 3 leaves at the top of the stem, this way the stem will spend less time trying to keep the leaves watered and growing proper and more time sprouting new roots for your new plant.
-
Step 3
Now take the fresh cut stem and place it in the jar of water making sure approx 3" of the stem is under the water.
-
Step 4
Now take the stem out of the water and tap it lightly on the side of the jar to remove any excess water. You don't want it to be dripping.
