Physical appearance is important while you're at college in order to make college friends. People often judge others by their first impression, so it's best to make that first impression in college positive. College students are no exception. Read on to discover ways you can make college friends.

  1. Step 1
     

    When meeting another college student for the first time, always smile and greet that person warmly in order to make college friends. A simple smile can brighten up someone's day considerably, and you'll be making college friends in no time. If you're nervous, just remember that you’re awesome inside and out. There should be no reason why you wouldn't want to show off those gorgeous teeth while you're at college.

  2. Step 2
     

    Dress to please to make college friends. If you care about how you dress, it shows. Making college friends will be easier if you keep clean and always have good hygiene. Doing so will also help you to feel confident, and everyone will enjoy being around you.

  3. Step 3
     

    Always stand erect and never slouch in order to make college friends. Keeping your head held high will let other college students know that you are confident about yourself, even if you don't feel that way. They will also think you're worth finding out more about, and you'll be making college friends as well.

  4. Step 4
     

    When introducing yourself, don't be afraid to wave or shake the college student's hand. Remember to smile politely as you do so to make college friends! Having contact with a possible friend can do wonders and will let the person know you're interested in further communication.
