Things You'll Need:
- 1/ cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- sugar crystals

Step 1
Stir together your butter with your sugar and vanilla extract until all mixed. Gradually beat in the egg yolks, followed by your all purpose flour, and mix fully until it becomes dough. Knead lightly. Place dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until dough has become stiff.

Step 2
Take your dough out of the fridge and roll it out thinly on a lightly floured surface, using a rolling pin if you have one. Brush remaining flour off the top of the dough.

Take a angel shaped cookie cutter or a templater and a sharp knife and cut out the angel shapes. Place the cookies on a sheet of foil and refrigerate again until cookies are stiff.

Preheat oven to 350 and grease 3 baking pans. Place the cookies on the pans about 2 inches apart and sprinkle with your sugar crystals. Bake cookies for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Take out , cool, and serve.
