Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 package German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 package (16 oz)caramel candies
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 package chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  1. Step 1

    Preheat your oven to 350 degrees before you start. In a large bowl, mix cake mix as directed on package. Pour half of the batter into a pan, reserving the other half for the topping. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. When done, remove from oven and reduce the heat to 250 degrees.

  2. Step 2

    Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt the caramel candies with milk and butter. Pour contents over the baked portion of the cake. Sprinkle in the chocolate chips and the nuts. Carefully pour the remainder of the cake batter on top and bake in the 250 degree oven for 20 minutes.

  3. Step 3

    Increase the oven temperature back to 350 degrees and continue to bake the cake for another 10 minutes. Once done, take the snicker chocolate cake out of the oven and let cool on wire rack before serving.
