    Begin with a short run of a mile or two to prepare your cardiovascular system for softball training.

    It's a good idea to start off slow instead of jumping right into strength training for softball. The idea is to prevent shocking your system to avoid softball injuries.

  3. Step 3

    Prepare your throwing muscles to train for softball season.

    A weighted softball training aid can help the supporting muscles of the shoulder build strength for softball. Start tossing around the weighted softball in the backyard.

    It will pay off during the season if you are committed and train for softball early on.
