Things You'll Need:
- A Syncplicity.com account - 2GB free signup
- Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 Computer
- Ability to download the Sync client

Step 1
select folder to do an online backup ofAssuming that you signed up for services, click the "install" link at the top of the dashboard to install the Syncplicity Client application. You'll first need to select the folders that you want to back up. Since you only get 2GB free, you'll want to select your most used, most needed, and most valuable document folders.
Choose the "Add a new folder" link on the left side, third down from top. This pops open a window that shows the contense of your computer. Select the folder that you want to Sync, and select "OK" -
Step 2
Completed backup screenAfter you select the OK at the bottom of the Main Syncplicity window, your online backup will begin. This can take time, so it is best to do this when you are sleeping or when you do not need your computer.

The Syncplicity.com webpageWhen you are away from your computer, go to Syncplicity's website, and log in.

Click the file that you want to downloadOn your main dashboard, you have access to all your files. Go to the folder that you want and left click on the file. The download window pops up and now you can save to your desktop.
