When queasiness hits you, all you want is for it to go away immediately. You are unable to eat, get comfortable or enjoy yourself in any way.
I will provide you with a couple of natural remedies that will say goodbye to that awful nausea.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Ginger
  • Chamomile or Peppermint Tea
  • Patience
  1. Step 1

My favorite line of defense against nausea is ginger. It is incredible at easing not only nausea but many digestive issues. Most people look to flat ginger ale for their nausea eliminating ginger fix as this has been known to help. But did you know most ginger ale sold in stores contains no real ginger at all, but artificial flavoring? When choosing a ginger ale for queasiness choose one made from real ginger. You will most likely have to buy it from the organic or natural section of your supermarket, your local farmer's/produce market, or a natural food store.

  2. Step 2

Another way to use ginger is to buy it whole and slice off 1 or 2 slices then allow it to simmer in a cup of water for 10 minutes. Pour into a mug and sip.
If you'd rather use the powder ginger you have in your spice and seasoning cupboard, that will definitely work as well. Simmer about 2 teaspoons ginger in water for 5-10 minutes and sip like tea when done.
    Take as needed.

Another super easy way is to just pop a couple of ginger capsules sold in drugstores and any store with a vitamin section.
Take as directed on the label.

  3. Step 3

Hot tea is just a really great way all around to ease stomach issues and nausea. Try brewing up some peppermint tea or chamomile tea and relax with the confidence that soon your uncomfortable feeling will be no more. Sucking on peppermint candy will also give you that relief you need.

  4. Step 4

    Vomit.
That's right, vomit. Sometimes you just have to release what's in there and you'll immediately feel better.
I'm not saying stick your fingers down your throat, but just let the natural gagging reflex take you there rather than fighting it and holding in.

Tips & Warnings
  • Relax as you sip the tea and take deep breaths. Try to focus on something other than your nausea. Mind over matter =)
  • If you are unsure how taking ginger or anything else will interact with any medications you are taking, please seek medical advice FIRST.
