Now, list specific things that you can do to further those priorities. This is the time for specific goals that you want to accomplish. Tasks like "Paint the living room" or "Take the kids to the beach" go here. This is your concrete plan. Be sure to take care of all of your priorities.

Now, set specific times for events that can be pinned down. You could paint on Saturday between 11am and 2pm. Block this time off in your planner, if you use one. This will prevent you from double booking a lunch with your friends or any other commitment that will distract you.
