Things You'll Need:
- wax
- buffing sponge
- buffer
- soft cloth
-
Step 1
When waxing your car you can use whatever wax you desire but I love to use Gold glass brand wax. When you buy wax if it doesn't come with a a buffing sponge, buy one. You will also need a very soft cloth rag to remove the wax with as well.
-
Step 2
When you get started after washing your car make sure the car is completely dry otherwise the wax will smear when you apply it. You may want to wait 30 minutes to an hour after washing your car and drying it to ensure all of the water is wiped off. Once you are sure the car is dry apply a dab of wax onto your buffing sponge. Apply the wax with small circular strokes onto the car. Remember to apply the car wax in sections because car wax dries rather quickly. Once you have applied was to a section for instead the front hood wait until the wax turns white in appearance. Now its time to remove the wax. Get out your soft cloth and remove the wax using the same motion you applied the wax with.
-
Step 3
Another great way to remove the wax that works best is by using a buffer. If you have an electric buffer after the wax is dry buff the wax off the section you applied the wax to. Once you finish the waxing the entire car it should have a new car shine and also be very slippery as well.
