Dogs love to dig and it is there nature to do so. Making a few simple changes and you will stop the dog from digging out of your yard. There will be a little work involved and you will need a few supplies. This is a sure fire way to prevent your dogs from digging out.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bags of cement
  • Shovel
  • Wheel barrel
  1. Step 1

    You need measure and figure out the size of your yard and calculate how much cement you will need. Once you have, these figures you will need to visit your nearest Building supply store. If you are unsure on how much cement you will need, ask one of the employees for help they are knowledgeable in helping you calculate the amount of cement you will need.

  2. Step 2

    Around your yard you will need to dig a trench about one-two feet deep, the width should be about 4 inches. You will need to find a place for the access soil or you can cover the area with the dirt if you like.

  3. Step 3

    You need to mix the cement after you have finished digging the trench. You now need to begin filling the trench around your yard. After you have finished pouring the cement let it dry. The cement should be completely dry in two days. This will stop your dogs from digging out.

Tips & Warnings
  • Mix small amounts of cement at time it drys quickly.
