Many different recipes call for a pork loin to be butterflied. It is very easy to do it; just make sure you use a well-sharpened knife. Use a boneless pork loin for this method. Does this Spark an idea?

      Start with a clean cutting board. Place the pork loin on the cutting board with one end facing you.

      Using a long and sharp knife, make a lengthwise cut starting just 1 inch in from the right side of the pork loin.

      Cut all the way across just 1 inch from the cutting board and without cutting all the way through to the back.

      Turn the knife and cut it to your left, as if you are forming a right angle. Stop when you get about 1 inch from the opposite side of the pork loin.

      Open up the pork loin and lay the sides out. It should be nearly flat.

      Continue on with your recipe.
