- A blog
- a google adsense account

Step 1
First, you must have a blogger.com blog and a google adsense account. First, go to blogger.com and open up an account and then go to google adsense and open up an account. I put direct links in the resources below.

Next, you will be asked to name your blog and blogger will take you through the steps to making your blog.

When you have your blog up and running, go to your blog dashboard and click on the "view blog" link. You will now be taken to your blogs main page.

Next, go to the top of your blogs main page and click on the "customize" link. You will now be taken to the blog editing and customizing page.

Next, once you are on the blog editing and customizing page, click on the "add a gadget" link. A new window will open with a bunch of options. Click on the adsense option.

Next, once you click on the adsense button, a new window will appear. This will be the adsense ad customization window. Scroll down to the bottom of that page and click on the "save button. Your google adsense gadget will now be added to the editing and customizing page and you will be returned to the editing and customizing page.

Step 7
Lastly, click on the "view blog" link at the top of the editing box and you will be directed to your updated blog. You should see your new adsense ad on the blog. You can add more adsense ads by following the same steps.

on 7/25/2009 Yes, the ads will change according to how well your blog is keyword optimized and to which keyword you are optimizing the blog to.
