Here is an old family recipe for Barbecue Beef Brisket. It's super easy and it tastes great!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Beef Brisket
  • Barbeque Sause
  • Liquid Smoke
  • Spices
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Roaster Pan
  • Oven
  1. Step 1

Purchase a beef brisket from your local grocery store or butcher. If it is frozen be sure to put it in the refrigerator to thaw over night.

  2. Step 2

Once it has thawed get a large dish marinate the beef brisket in one bottle of liquid smoke and worcestershire sauce. Sprinkle garlic, onion salt, celery salt over the brisket. Cover and put in the refrigerator over night.

  3. Step 3

Take the brisket out of the refrigerator and put it in a roaster pan with the marinating juice.

  4. Step 4

Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Bake brisket covered for four hours. After four hours remove the brisket from the oven.

  5. Step 5

Remove the brisket from the roaster pan and discard the liquid in the bottom of the pan. Scrape the fat off with a Fork or spoon. When you have finish that take a fork and shred the brisket. Put the shredded brisket into a bowl and add two bottles of your favorite barbecue sauce and mix it together.

  6. Step 6

The brisket is now ready to serve. Your brisket will feed eight to ten people depending on the size. You can serve it on sandwich rolls or any way that you choose. I serve mine with mac and cheese and coleslaw or potato salad.

Tips & Warnings
  • I put the left over brisket in freezer bags and freeze it. That way you can use it for future lunches or dinners and it only takes a couple of minutes to heat up.
