How to Effectively Organize a Garage
Organizing a garage can add a great deal of functionality and organization to that space in your home. Generally we use a garage for storage of overflow in our home. After years of collecting items, a garage may become cluttered and difficult to deal with. Does this Spark an idea?

First start by doing a complete garage cleaning. Throw away what you do not want, need, or use anymore. If it's broken, throw it away as well. If there are items you do not want but are still useable, you may donate them to your local thrift store.

Use clear Rubber maid boxes to place articles in that you will use often. The clear boxes allow you to see what is in the box without having to open it. It also keeps water and pests from getting into items.

Protect your tools from rust. Condensation can be avoided by making sure that humidity is kept out of your tool area. Check seals on your doors and windows to make sure outside condensation isn't infiltrating.

Use large, heavy duty hooks to hang gardening tools on the wall. This keeps them off the floor and easy grab.
