Things You'll Need:
- Broom
- Buffing machine
- Light abrasive scrub pad for buffer
- Mop
- Polyurethane
- Brush

Step 1
Sweep the floor clean of any loose dust and grime with the broom.

Step 2
Buff the floor with the buffing machine with the light abrasive pad attachment. This will remove any marks on the old finish and scuff it enough to accept a new coat of polyurethane.

Step 3
Mop the floor to remove any excess dust.

Step 4
Apply a new coat of polyurethane to the floor with a clean brush.

Step 5
Allow the new finish to dry for at least eight hours before walking on the floor.
