Instructions

    • 1

Connect your CD DJ mixing console to speakers and an amplifier if necessary. Some CD DJ mixing consoles have their own sound systems.

    • 2

Connect your headphones to the mixer. You will need the headphones to cue the music.

    • 3

Load a CD into each of your two player decks. You will be mixing sounds from these audio sources.

    • 4

Cue your CDs by using the rewind and fast forward buttons or knobs on either player deck. Adjust each deck's volume and equalizer while cueing if possible.

    • 5
      Crossfader in Use

Slide the crossfader handle fully toward the deck you intend to play from first. Cue and monitor the other deck by listening through your headphones. Despite what may be playing in your headphones, your speakers will play only what the crossfader indicates.

    • 6

Slide the crossfader handle back and forth as desired. Leave the crossfader handle between the two decks to play them simultaneously. The closer to a deck your crossfader lies, the more prominently the deck's audio will play in your mix.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep all equipment as cool and dry as possible.

  • Always pull cables from the base. Never pull from the cord.
