Step 1
Decide on something to wear ahead of time. By ahead of time, I mean at the end of the previous summer. Swim suits are marked down as much as 90% off at the end of summer.
-
Step 2
Take old towels. The sand can get your new towels dirty so you don't have to spend money to get new beach towels. Take multiple towels so you don't get your car wet and sandy. The cleaner you are when you get in the car, the less you will spend cleaning your car.
-
Step 3
Take cups, bowls, and large spoons. These are a great alternative to the toys you can buy to play with the sand. You can use bowls and different shapes of containers to design spectacular sand castles! Your sand castles can be as amazing as the ones made by people who bought a set of sand tools.
-
Step 4
Pack a cooler or lunchbox. You will save a fortune on food if you take your own. You can have your own family picnic for the same price as a one person meal at a beach food stand.
