Everyone likes Jell-O shots, but here is the south-of-the-border twist! Made with Lime Jell-O and your favorite Tequila.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • (2) 3 oz. packages of Lime Jell-O
  • (1) 6 oz. of Tequila
  • (1) 8 oz. boiling water
  • (1) 2 oz. cold lime juice
  • (1) box of Dixie Cups
  • (1) measuring cup
  • (1) cookie sheet
  • (1) mixing bowl
  1. Step 1

Dissolve (2) Jell-O packages in 8 oz. boiling water in the mixing bowl.

  2. Step 2

Stir 6 oz. chilled Tequila and 2 oz. chilled lime juice in to the dissolved Jell-O mixture in the mixing bowl. Jose Cuervo is suggested, but any tequila will work.

  3. Step 3

Place Dixie Cups on a cookie sheet and fill 3/4 full with Jell-O. Using a measuring cup with a pour spout is suggested to reduce spills and drips.

  4. Step 4

Place cookie sheet full of Jell-O shots in the fridge and let sit for 2-4 hours depending on your temperature settings.

  5. Step 5

Once chilled and solidified, break out when the party starts and be the star! The best ways to consume are to rip the Dixie Cup and eat the contents, or some prefer to eat the Jell-O out of the Dixie Cup with their tongue.

Tips & Warnings
  • Less tequila can be used and substituted for chilled water to taste.
  • Jose Cuervo tequila is suggested for excellent price and taste, and tequila can be substituted
  • Must be 21 or over to enjoy alcohol.
