Things You'll Need:
- Rice
- Soy sauce
- Onion
- eggs
- olive oil
- butter
- garlic clove, or powder
-
Step 1
Prepare rice the day before you are planning to make the fried rice. Prepare following the directions on package. Also prepare a mixture of butter with Crushed or powdered garlic. I use .5 cup butter and .5 clove crushed garlic. Keep this and rice in the refrigerator over night.
-
Step 2
Heat large pan on medium to medium hi heat. Put a couple table spoons in the pan and let heat.
-
Step 3
After the oil starts sizzling a little place 3 eggs in pan, break yolk and cook as if you were scrambling eggs. While this is cooking place Chopped up onions in pan as well, how much depends on your taste for onions. I only use about half a cup.
-
Step 4
When the eggs are pretty well cooked, place the rice into the pan, mix well with eggs and onions. Break the rice up real well and heat for a couple of minutes. Then cover thoroughly with soy sauce. Season with your favorite seasonings.
-
Step 5
Start putting the mixture of butter and garlic that you had previously made in the rice. You will cook the mixture for about 3-5 mins.
I hope you enjoy. If you need to tweak the ingredients to your taste go ahead. I actually received these directions from a chef at a Hibachi grill that I know, but I have to tweak a couple of things to my taste.
