Step 1
Bonding.
Your child’s teacher is a very important adult in your child’s life. This is why it’s important that you establish a good relationship with the teacher. -
Step 2
Offer to help.
On your off days volunteer in the classroom whenever you can. Offer to help make copies, read to the children, and watch them at recess while she catches up on her lesson plans. -
Step 3
Attend function.
It is understandable that some parents may not be able to attend all function due to work schedules. If you can’t attend parties, or plays try to attend after-school conferences such as PTA meetings, or any other special events. -
Step 4
Be supportive.
You can do this by making sure your child does what they are suppose to do within the classroom. A respectful and helpful child makes a teacher day more productive and less stressful. -
Step 5
Be Respectful.
Always smile and greet the teacher. Don’t be s snob, some people aren’t morning people but you can be respectful and speak and give a smile. -
Step 6
Communication
Always respond to any notes or letters that the teacher sends. If you are unable to attend an field trip or buy any supplies simply write a letter explaining your situation so the teacher will know, they aren’t mind readers don’t keep them guessing. -
Step 7
Always say thank you and show your appreciation with your child’s teacher. You will make the teachers day, because you have some parents whom doesn’t care, or smile, help with homework, or even think about attending school functions.
