Step 1
Wear sunblock when you go outside for longer the 10 minutes, anytime of the year. A little bit of sunlight is good for our skin to get vitamin D, but to much can damage your skin.
-
Step 2
When driving for a long period of time, wear sunblock. The sun exposure from driving can damage your skin just as if you are outside. It may only get half your face, but lather up to be protected.
-
Step 3
Wear a sunscreen that is at least 30 SPF no matter what the weather is outside. Overcast can damage your skin just as well as when the sun is beaming on you.
-
Step 4
Choose makeup that have sunscreen mixed into them to protect your face throughout the year.
-
Step 5
Don't forget to slather sunscreen on your hands. This part of the body is often overlooked, and our hands tell a lot about our age. Actually hands show signs of sun damage quicker then the face! If you wash your hands frequently reapply the sunscreen often and choose waterproof sunscreens.
-
Step 6
All year round wear sunglasses to protect your eyes. Choose a pair with either UVA or UVB protection. This will protect your eyes from wrinkles and even cataracts later on in life.
