Having a Blackberry and Twitter account can be a great combination for those Twitter fans out there. Using different Twitter apps on your Blackberry can give you easy access to sending tweets, following friends, uploading pictures, and other useful tools. There are a number of apps available, here are the steps to get one or a few of them to test and/or use.
Go to the Blackberry App World to view Twitter products. If you don't have App World you can download it quickly, just use a basic Google search. From the search screen, enter Twitter to see what is available or search by a specific Twitter app name to see if its available there.

Search for Twitter app ideas on Twitter.com. Use the "Search" function at the bottom of the page to see what other Twitter users are using. This is also a great way to get reviews about the apps and to learn about any issues with them.

Search Blackberry forums for more Twitter app insight. You'll be surprised how many people comment and blog about these and other Blackberry related apps. I also included a great website that has a page dedicated to free Twitter apps for Blackberry's in the resource section below.

Go to a search engine and search for the Twitter app download that you would like to get. For example, type in "Twitterberry download" into the search to find the download instruction and website. Make sure you are getting the app from a trusted and/or referred site.

Repeat Step 4 for all Twitter apps that you would like to test and/or use. Follow the download and installation instructions that are provided to complete the install. You will likely need to re-boot your phone to complete the downloads.

Test out your new Twitter app(s). Navigate through the menu and options to learn about the functionality and user friendliness of that specific app. If you prefer one or two over the others, you can then delete the application(s) that you do not plan on using.
