Use this step by step guide to find cheap gas prices in your area. As gas prices continue to rise, finding the cheapest gas for your vehicle will save you lots of money.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Know where your local gas stations are located.

Use an online mapping service to find your location, then search for "gas stations". One popular mapping service is Google Maps, see link below in additional resources section.

  2. Step 2

Shop around for the best deal. Now that you know where your local gas stations are you can find the cheapest gas prices.

The average person spends thousands of dollars a year on gas for their car. When you're paying that much a year, doesn't it make sense to look around for the best deal?

  3. Step 3

Use online websites to compare gas prices.

In addition to steps one and two, try an online website that automatically compares gas prices in your area. Once example is GasBuddy, see link listed in additional resources section below.
