It's very annoying to watch a movie or listen to a music cd and for it to stop working. This can be very aggravating which is why i put together this how to guide. The first step is to turn the CD over and take a look at the back of the cd. Try to locate were the scratches are. If there are very deep scratches your out of luck. If the scratches are faint you can polish them out.

2
Take a lint free cloth and softly rub it around the cd, the scratches should fade or remove. Make sure you use a soft lint free cloth, if you don't you can damage your CD even more.

If cleaning the back of the CD does not help solve the skipping you can buy a commercial cleaning kit. This should solve the issue, although it may cost you a good penny.
-
4
If the above steps fail to fix the skipping you can attempt to burn the CD.

5
If all else fails just throw the CD in the garbage. It might make you feel better after releasing the anger!
