Instructions

    • 1

Take your pieces of old paper and shred them into very small pieces. Try to get at least 20-30 pieces out of one sheet. The more you shred, the smoother your paper will be when you finish.

    • 2
      Blending the Paper

Put the shredded pieces of paper in a blender with water and the additional items that you wish to add (picture in next step), and blend for about 20 seconds on high. Make sure you don't fill the blender to over 1/3 full each time. Repeat until all paper has been blended.

    • 3
Here are some additions that you could add to your paper

Pour the mixer through a strainer, and drain the water in the sink. You should now be left with some "mush".

    • 4

Pour the mixture in a mold on on a smooth surface. Use the roller to flatten it out, and let sit for five to ten minutes.

    • 5

After sitting, press the paper in the middle of a thick book. This will remove all extra water (but may get water in the book). Let sit for 1-2 days.

    • 6

You're done! Once you take the dried paper out of the book, you can reuse it again! You now have your own way to recycle paper! Remember, reduce, reuse, and recycle!!!
