This article will tell you how to prepare a pork stew that is easy and delicious.
To serve 2-3 people, use small cans of potatos and soup, for a larger stew use the bigger cans.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Crock Pot
  • Big Spoon
  • Can Opener
  • 1 pound boneless pork cut into 1/2 in pieces
  • 2 cans sliced potatos
  • 2 cans mushroom soup
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Onion Powder
  1. Step 1

The boneless pork I use is sirloin chops. You can also use the left overs from a pork roast, in that case you don't have to cook as long, just heat it up good and let simmer for 1 hour.

  2. Step 2

Open cans and drain excess liquid from potatos and mushrooms. Dump into crock pot, add 1 teaspoon onion powder and mix well. Add the pork and mix well.

  3. Step 3

Turn crock pot on high for one hour or until simmering. Turn to low for two to three hours, or until pork is no longer pink in the middle and tender. The longer it simmers the more tender and delicious it will be.

  4. Step 4

To serve, place a piece of bread on a deep plate and spoon stew over the bread. Season with salt and pepper if desired.

Tips & Warnings
  • This stew is even better the next day, after being cooled and re-heated.
  • You can also add chopped green peppers, onions or garlic when adding the pork.
