Getting sunburned is something that happens to almost all of us at some point. Sometimes we find out that when we are sunburned we having nothing to help ease the pain, or either the stuff we wanted was way to expensive. I am going to show you a method that will ease the pain when you are sunburned.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • minor sunburn
  • cucumbers
  1. Step 1

You will need to first look inside of your frig, and see if you have any cucumbers. If you do not have any cucumbers go to the store, and buy a few of them. They do not cost very much. Once you get the cucumbers make sure they are clean, and wash them off really good. I usually wash mine at least two-three times.

  2. Step 2

After you know that the cucumbers are cleaned off really good, find a place in your kitchen, because you will need to cut the cucumbers up. Get a knife, plate, and a paper towel. Cut the cucumbers up into small thin layers. Put them on the plate.

  3. Step 3

When you are finished cutting up the cucumbers get one, and put it on the burn. It is very important that you move it around in circles. Do it for a few minutes, or until you feel the pain ease. Cucumbers have a lot of good sources in them such as vitamins A,C, and folic acid. The sources in them is what helps to relieve pain with sunburn. If you have children with minor sunburns this will be something fun you can do with them, and save some of it for a snack.

Tips & Warnings
  • I have done this on some burns that have been a little severe, and it works. Sometimes you just might have to apply it a little bit longer.
  • If you do not get relief contact your doctor, and make sure it's not infected.
