Making Firefox your own can be something that any FireFox user can do. It's fun and easy, although not that well known. There are millions of firefox software out there, so there's something for everybody. Today I shall be outlining a couple that I like the most, along with giving you a link of the complete website that gives you all of this great software.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A Computer
  • Firefox
  • Internet
  1. Step 1

First of all, if you don't have FireFox, I highly recommend it. It's a free download, and runs faster than Internet Explorer. To download FireFox, click here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/upgrade.html?from=getfirefox

An additional link is provided in the resources section of this web page.

  2. Step 2

    Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/.

This is the official website of FireFox add-ons. There are a ton of add ons, ranging from user-friendliness to appearance, to security. Below I shall recommend a couple for you.

NOTE: I DO NOT WORK FOR MOZILLA (CREATORS OF FIREFOX) AND AM NOT HERE TO ADVERTISE THEIR PRODUCTS.

  3. Step 3
    Personas for FireFox

    Personas for FireFox

    1. FIREFOX PERSONAS

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10900

Personas add a theme to your FireFox browser. These themes are diplayed at the very top (address bar) of the page and the very bottom of the page (see picture for examples). These are great for enhancing appearance, and also great for making FireFox your own!

  4. Step 4
    TwitterFox in Action!!

    TwitterFox in Action!!

    2. TwitterFox

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5081

TwitterFox allows you to post and view your Twitter profile without actually going to the website. The software adds a small icon on the status bar, where you can notify your friends of your status. Kinda like having a Mini-Twitter page inside FireFox.

  5. Step 5
    The Download StatusBar

    The Download StatusBar

    3. DOWNLOAD STATUSBAR:

This application allows you to manage all of your downloads without the hasty "download" page popping up every time. All you need is a small bar at the bottom of the page. Using this bar, you can manage all past and existing downloads.

  6. Step 6

    4. ANYCOLOR:

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6991

This add-on is kind of like Personas, except that the entire page is based on your theme, not just the header and footer of the page.

  7. Step 7

Now wasn't that easy! You now have access to all the FireFox add-ons in the world! You need an add-on? FireFox has it. Use these to enhance your web viewing in FireFox.
