Stay Cool at Work and protect yourself from heat stroke

Will help you from dreading those hot sweaty days at work by using the right methods to stay cool. Make sure to bring plenty of water.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Breathable, comfortable clothes.
  • hat
  • sunglasses
  • plenty of water
  • cool rags
  • breathable socks
  1. Step 1

Stay away from wool, wear cotton or other linen that is comfortable and breathable, you can use starch on your clothes to keep them from sticking to your body if you get sweaty.

  2. Step 2

If you work outside all day in the hot sun, make sure to wear a breathable hat, and some sunglasses, which will also keep harmful uv rays out of your eyes. Also try to shade your neck this will help keep you cool.

  3. Step 3

If you work inside in a office, bring a little fan, and turn it on when you get hot, if you can get away with it, don't wear a tie and leave your caller open so that it lets more air in.

  4. Step 4

If you sweat a lot wear an undershirt to soak the perspiration up so that it does not soak through to your other shirt.

  5. Step 5

When working outside keep a cooler around with plenty of gatorade and cold water, you can keep a few rags inside this and place them on your head or on the back of your neck every so often to keep you cool.

  6. Step 6

Wear socks, some sock companies make socks that are more breathable, wearing these socks will help soak up the sweat around your feet, make it evaporate faster, and make your feet cooler and more comfortable.
