  1. Step 1

    Practice Holding Your Shoulders Up And Back. Slouching is unattractive and unhealthy. You can only benefit from doing this, and you will see an immediate change in your appearance. Doing back related exercises also makes it easier to hold your shoulders in this position.

  2. Step 2

    Hold Your Head Up. Don't look down at the ground, look straight ahead. This is common sense but many people tend to walk looking down and it portrays low confidence. It also constricts the air passage, so keeping your head up has health benefits.

  3. Step 3

    Puff Your Chest Out. This may seem extreme, but use birds as an example. A male bird puffs its' chest out when it is ready to mate. It is a show of confidence and works the same way for humans. Just don't puff it out too much.

  4. Step 4

    Take Long Steady Strides. Try not to shuffle or wobble. That portrays natural confidence.

  • Practice walking in rhythm with something, like music in your head.
