Make sure you order enough AVON brochures. You will probably only get about two new customers per 100 brochures. I always put a note on the front of the brochure stating any specials for new customers. Usually 10% off the first order of $25 or more. You can add any special that you are running, but specials do get you more business. Your AVON brochures is a big key to your AVON business

Have professional business cards printed for your AVON business. Vistaprint.com is the best site that I have found. You can get pens, Cards, letter heads, even t-shirts printed up with your business info. Be sure to promote yourself everywhere you go. Always think of your chance for business no matter where you go.

Take a few AVON brochures and put them at apartment mailboxes. This has gotten me the majority of my business. On the other hand, get flyers printed. They have great templates at your AVON site. Carry brochure with you everywhere. Leave one in the grocery cart when you leave. Make sure it is inside because they will trash it if it is outside. Leave one in the service station bathroom when you get gas. Think of creative ways to use these methods to promote your AVON business.

Promote yourself and your AVON business online. There are plenty of sites that let you promote your business for free. Like Craigslist, and Yellow pages. Cut the costs as much as passable, but get yourself out there.

Know your AVON products. Take advantage of the knowledge they have at AVON. They will give you everything you need to know if you take the time to sit and read it all. You can also join many of the AVON groups on yahoo. They provide a great deal of info. I also buy some of the products to let friends and family try them and fill out a survey. This is a very informative way of learning. It just costs a little extra.
