This is how you make a simple scrapbook out of paper bags.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Lunch bags any color
  • Hole punch and size
  • Glue
  • Paper
  • Embellishments
  • Ribbons, buttons and anything else you want to use.
  1. Step 1

First thing you need to do is get the paper bags. Lunch bags are sold at many stores and they come in different colors too. You need to figure out how many pages you want your book to have. If you want 10 pages then you only need 5 bags. Lay the bags down and turn every other bag so the ends are at opposite sides. When you fold them all in half you should have a end piece for every other page.

  2. Step 2

Now you can hole punch the middle of the bags that are folded. This will bind your book. The more holes you put in, the easier it could rip, keep that in mind. Bind your book with ribbon, or anything that will hold it all together.

  3. Step 3

Paper is the best way to start decorating your book. Measure your page then cut the paper and glue it to the paper bag. You can paper piece the paper together, rip it, embellish it. You can chalk it, stamp it, use stickers the list goes on. The sides that have the openings, use those as pockets. Now if you want photo's simply add them to your finished page.

  4. Step 4

Ideas for books you are endless. A recipe book is perfect, the open ends are great for holding extra recipes. A child's alphabet book, a book of numbers. If your child destroys the book its no big deal. Use your imagination it's fun, inexpensive and easy.
