How to Remove Bing as Your Default Firefox Search Engine
The Firefox location bar also serves as a search bar, using the keywords that you type to help you find the website you're looking for. If the entered text isn't a valid URL, Firefox searches for a URL related to your terms. Firefox's default search service is Google's Browse by Name, but you're free to change it. Sometimes, though, you may install software or a toolbar that changes the Firefox keyword search to a service like Bing and want to change it back.

Launch Firefox.

Type "about:config" in the location bar.

Right-click on "keyword.URL" in the search results. Click "Reset."

This Bing hijacker is a nasty one! This and several other suggestions have not worked. It will work for the first new tab then defaults back to bing as the homepage. Bill Gates is garbage and has been since day thieving one!
