First thing you will want to do is disconnect your satellite dish from the roof of your home or get one by contacting the satellite company. Maybe someone is selling one. However you get one it doesn't matter.

If you are going to hook your RV up to a permanent location and don't plan on moving it for many years then you can attach the satellite to the roof of your camper just as you would in your home. Make sure that you have it pointing south.

Obviously I am not going to tell you to drill a hole in the roof of your camper to get the wire inside to attach it to the roof. This will cause you to have a leaky roof. Although you can do this and cover the space with sealant. Another option would be to run the cord down from the roof and in through a window. Or maybe the door. Make sure you cover the cord with a rug (if on the floor so that no one trips and falls.
