Replacing the vinyl on kitchen chairs can give new life to an old kitchen set. The process of stretching a square of vinyl over the chair seat and stapling it to the underside is relatively easy, but making the corners can be a bit confusing if you have never done it before. Staple the edges of the vinyl on the bottom of the chair up to approximately 1 inch from the corner.

Pull the point of the triangle toward the center of the chair.

Pull the point of the triangular point as tightly as possible to reduce puckering on the corner.
