Things You'll Need:
- 1 stick (4 oz) butter (softened)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 egg
- 1/2 brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups white chocolate
- medium-sized bowl
- electric hand mixer
- baking sheets

Step 1
In a medium-sized bowl combine both sugars, vanilla extract, softened butter, salt. Then beat with an electric hand mixer at medium to high speed until mixture is light and fluffy.

Then add cocoa, and baking soda to sugar mixture. Beat again until blended. Then stir in all-purpose flour and white chocolate.

Cover and chill for approximately four hours. Cookie dough can be chilled for up to 10 hours or more before baking.

Then preheat oven to 375 degrees F. for approximately 5 minutes.

Grease baking sheets. Then shape cookies into round balls using a tablespoon or by using your hands. Place cookies approximately 2 inches apart. Place only 6 cookies per cookie sheet.

Bake cookies for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Then remove from oven and cool for about 5 minutes. Then serve.
