How to Connect to FrostWire

FrostWire is a program that's very similar to Lime Wire, which allows users to search and download music, movies, pictures and data, and even chat with one another. What sets FrostWire aside from Lime Wire, however, is that FrostWire is based on the premium paid version of Lime Wire, which is faster and more efficient. Although you get the same search results of Lime Wire Pro, you do not have to deal with the hassles of using the free version of Lime Wire.

Instructions

1. Go to the FrostWire website (see Resources) and click the big green icon that says "Download Now". Proceed to click the second "Download Now" at the download location website.

2. Click "Run" and agree to the terms of service. Click "Finish" upon completion of installation and launch the FrostWire program.

3. Look at the bottom right-hand side of the program screen to view your connection status. When you load the program it will say "Starting Connection". After a few minutes it will connect automatically depending on your Internet speed and say "Turbo-Charged Connection".

4. Go to "File" and click "Disconnect" to disconnect FrostWire.
