search the internet for free credit report, there are plenty or sites where you can check you credit for free every year. By law, you are able to receive a free credit report annually. You will have access to your credit report for free from a week to 3o days, after that you may be charged to your credit card if you dont cancel the credit report service at the website you selected.

Select a website where the credit reports include score besides all of the open accounts you have.

After selecting the website, go that website and enter all your information, you will be asked for past addresses, schools, family members, and other information only you should know and would be able to answer.

You will then be promted to enter your credit card information and the type of service you want, be sure to select free unless you want any extra service the website credit report company might offer.

Check all the information in the credit report is correct. Remember there could be a case of theft identity and you might be a victim and not know it. If you find some accounts, that you know for sure that are not yours, call the credit report company.You might have to write a letter explaining if something is wrong. It would not take too long to correct in case something is wrong and clean your credit.

View credit report and then make sure to print a copy for your records or order to receive a copy by mail. You have the right for that too. You shouldn't be charged for printing or requesting a copy once a year.
