4. Look at offbeat websites like bookrags.com and pinkmonkey.com.
   
   Many of these sites are also user contributed content, but offer different perspectives and different book summary from the variation of the different authors.

5. Look at book vendor websites like Amazon (amazon.com) or Barnes and Nobles (bn.com). Many times there is a short and concise book summary on the webpage for the book you are interested in.
