1. To get a Gmail account, you can either go to gmail's main webpage (at gmail.com) and press the button labeled "Click Account".
   
   You can also get gmail by going directly to Gmail's create account webpage. This is located at :
   https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount

2. You'll need to enter in some of your personal information to get started with a gmail account and also to create a username and password.
   
   The username will be part of your email address , so choose this wisely! Make sure it is an email address you will be willing to share with friends and family.
   
   If the user name you want is taken, try adding some numbers or a "." as variations on your user name.

3. Finally the last step to get a Gmail account, verify the word and image (to make sure you are not an automated robot generating email accounts) and you agree to the terms of service you'll have your very own gmail account!
