Step 1
For years mayonnaise has been thought of as a great at home conditioner. Try combing it through damp hair and put your hair up in a warm towel. Rinse thoroughly. It can leave your hair heavy the first day. Try this technique when you have a day for your hair to adjust. Don't use a lot of mayonnaise and comb through with a wide toothed comb.
-
Step 2
Grab your favorite hand moisterizer and try it out on your hair. A little can go a long way, so try a small amount first and rinse thoroughly.
-
Step 3
Try a warm beer. Pour the beer through the hair and rinse. Your hair will feel moist and maybe happy.
-
Step 4
Use a small amount of aloe vera for frizz control. Do you have any of the after sun relief product with aloe vera in it? Rub a small amount through curly or frizzy hair for control. This works similar to hair gel.
-
Step 5
Coconut milk, jojoba oil and soybean oil are all worth a try. Use in small amounts at first to test your results.
-
Step 6
Try to make your own egg conditioner. Use 1 teaspoon baby oil,
1 egg yolk and 1 cup water. Massage throughout your hair and rinse well. -
Step 7
While in cosmetology we learned about mayonnaise, beer and eggs being good to put on your hair. But the best tip we learned? A good diet really helps to make healthy hair! What you put in to your body is more important than what you put on your hair for the condition of your hair.
